  • Boca Chica Beach – Managed by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, through a 50-year lease agreement with TPWD, effective July 2007.
  • Bright Leaf Park – Operated by the Austin Community Foundation
  • Copano Bay Fishing Pier – Operated by the Aransas County Navigation District, effective Nov. 1, 2005.
  • Governor Hogg Shrine – Operated by the City of Quitman
  • Jim Hogg – Operated by the City of Rusk
  • Kerrville-Schreiner Park – Operated by the City of Kerrville
  • Lake Houston Park – Operated by the City of Houston, effective Aug. 25, 2006
  • Lake Texana State Park – Managed by the Lavaca-Navidad River Authority as Texana Park & Campground
  • Matagorda Island – Transferred to the Wildlife Division of TPWD; now a wildlife management area
  • Old Fort Parker – Operated by the City of Groesbeck
  • Rusk & Palestine Parks – Operated by American Heritage Railways, effective Sept. 1, 2007
  • Sebastopol House State Historic Site – Transferred to the City of Seguin, effective Sept. 1, 2011
  • Texas State Railroad – Operated by American Heritage Railways, effective Sept. 1, 2007
